Bread Of Life - Week 1

Jan 1-7 2007
**** Happy New Years ***
Welcome to "The Bread of Life ". This is the first in our weekly word series. I hope that it will be a blessing in your life. I thought that this title would be the right topic for this time. We often start the New Year with our " New Year痴 Resolutions". Some might say for the New Year: "I want to loose weight", or "I want to live healthier this year", or "I want to spend more time with my family".
All of these statements could easily be at the top of our list. But what about this statement, "I want a New Life in Christ."Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2cor5: 17)
You see everyone likes new things. We like a new car, what about new clothes, and even a new house. We like its freshness, we like its appearance, and we certainly like its scent. And when we own these things, we have a sense of accomplishment. A life in Christ is very similar. When one accepts Christ as Savior, and he no longer lives but Christ that lives in him (Gal 2:20), He now becomes a new creature. Things now are passed away, and things now become new. This does not mean that your hands and feet will change. But it simply means that no longer will you see through your eyes, but now you see through the eyes of God. You now see the way God sees you; a perfect vessel made by his hands. Your mind and your heart will instantly change; and this change will allow you to not only love your enemies, but the Love of God that is in you, will cause you to love yourself. You値l start to see the importance of your life and your service to God. When one becomes saved, they even look new."For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. (Ps 149:4)"

Beloved God really Loves You and you are important in his eyes. And we know this because he sent his son Christ Jesus not to condemn the World, but through Christ Jesus the World might be Saved. So start off the New Year with this declaration

"I Want A New Life In Christ!!!"

For those of you who want this New Life simply repeat these words:

Father I repent for all of My Sins, I accept and believe in my heart what you did for Me at Calvary. Wash me in Your Blood; Cleanse Me from all unrighteousness, I will confess you as My Lord and My Savior and, from this day forward I値l live for you for the rest of my life.
